Monumental Idea Co. was founded in 2009 by David Link and Ryan Smith, two aspiring screenwriters who met while getting their MBAs at the University of Texas at Dallas. Despite having produced 3 short films for the 48 Hour Film Project and the National Film Challenge, Monumental Idea Co. specializes in the art of screenwriting, and considers this craft its core competency. Their latest project, a short film called "Best Friends" is due to complete post-production in January 2011. |
